Why is a Best Free Media Player Required in 2023? The market is filled with an ocean of options, however, to make your task easy we have handpicked some of the best media players in 2023 that you can consider. But, for uninterrupted enjoyment, we need the best media players. We stream music and video almost every day. Over a period of time, the importance of media has grown at an exponential rate. As a result of that bug CC doesn't ask that one question the first time I run CC.With the advent of technology and the internet, enjoying easy and accessible media is no longer a difficult task. i continue to think that the embedded code for RP in CC (I assume there is such code) contains a bug. This picture also shows that there is only a slight difference between the 2 cleaning scripts in CC for RP. When I close RP (then the process "Realplay.exe" disappears) then CC doesn't complain about closing RP. When I close and restart CC, then CC will ask that one question when I let CC analyze my laptop for the 1st time. " doesn't show up the 1st time I run CC after starting my laptop. As mentioned before: This one question "RP 20 needs to be closed. That also could be the reason why this odd behaviour shows up. With the latest version of CC installed I also have a CC icon in the system tray. So, I would assume that the "RP 20" cleaning code is included in the standard program code of CC. The 1st RP line ("RP 20") hasn't got an asterix. Just look, after installation, for a program called "setup.exe". I still have the last 5 or 6 original RP installation files (I know how to find those original RP installation files. I must confess that I didn't like the GUI of the 2 latest versions of RP and went back to the version before that. Some more / final ? thoughts regarding this problem: So, that suggests that the "build-in" "RP 20" script does contain some code that makes CC ask that one question. As said before the amount and size of the "RP" files to be deleted is about the same as the amount & size of the "RP 20" files. That entry simply always seem to clean the RP related files. But the "RP" entry does never ask that one question. When I want to do this for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time then CC will show that message !!!! This is for the "RP 20" entry. As said before, when I do this for the 1st time (after re-starting my laptop) then CC won't show that message. Tried a few times more to clean "RP 20" related files. (I always keep a copy of the last say 5 versions of RP). Different registry entries and/or files ? If you're interested I still have the original installation files of both RP versions. I assume that the new installation differs (slightly) from the older version. I installed 1st the older version and then when a new version of RP was released I installed the newer version. Real Player and Real Player 20/20 are seperate apps and so it is possible to have both installed, do you have both installed? Presumably 'old' Real Player wasn't running so it got cleaned - or if you don't still have the older RP installed then it could be a glitch in the modified winapp2. So at some time in the past you have told CCleaner not to ask again about closing if Real Player 20/20 is running, so it's just been skipped. ![]() It will just show 'skipped' in the results like it does there in your screenshot.Īnd it's easy to forget that at sometime in the past you have ticked 'Do not show me this message again' for a particular item. If you have previously ticked 'Do not show me this message again' for a 'skip' popup then in future Custom Clean will simply skip it when necessary without showing you the popup again. ![]()
